Where to Meet: Claude Moore Rec Center Pool, 46105 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, VA 20164
Time: Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to session start time, to allow for parking, change and find us inside large pool area. Mention "Sterling Silver Scuba" at desk and you do not need to pay any additional fee to get into CMRC.
Bring: your mask/fins/snorkel (unless you reserved free rentals with us w/ your registration), swim suit and towel.
Receive: Scouts will receive a Certificate of Completion for the BSA Snorkel Patch which they will submit to their Troop in order to receive the actual Patch. Participants will receive a paper card showing their completion of the PADI Skin Diver Workshop, and may order a plastic wallet card for an additional fee.
BSA Scuba Patch or PADI Discover Scuba Diving Workshop

For PADI SCUBA Diving medical waivers, any answer of "YES" require your physician to SIGN WAIVER TOO and clear you for this type of activity. Please look at this waiver carefully first before signing up for a session to determine your eligibility.
Where: Session begins at the Sterling Silver Scuba Shop at 1102 West Church Road and then continues at Claude Moore Rec Center Pool, 46105 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, VA 20164
Time: Plan to arrive on time or early, as the process to size students for all gear takes time and the sooner we get this done, the sooner we can get to the pool!

Scuba Merit Badge Workshop
Where: Sterling Silver Scuba Shop at 1102 West Church Road (downstairs classroom)
Bring: Your PADI Card and your Blue Card with front signed by your Scoutmaster.
Receive: Blue Card Completion in one class. The class is run by a Merit Badge Counselor and the class is designed to teach the material as well as complete the requirements, so no pre-requisites are needed...well, earning your PADI certification was a big part of it! Through video and group discussion, we'll complete the merit badge requirements, including a refresher on CPR.
