Introducing New Scuba Specialty License Plate for Virginia
Northern Virginia Sports Association is sponsoring a new Specialty license plate for Scuba Diving with the Commonwealth of Virginia. Delegate Tag Greason wrote us that "he would be happy to sponsor the legislation." Help be a part of passing this Bill by being one of the necessary 450 applicants we need to get this Bill in the General Assemby.
1. Reserve Your Plate Now. Download the pdf here. $25 fee (+$10 if personalized) must accompany the application and be sent to us, NVA SPORTS, who is the SPONSOR of the PLATE. DO NOT SUBMIT TO DMV. All funds for this project are held in escrow. In the unlikely event the Bill does not pass, 100% refund will be made to each applicant.
2. If you are not ready to apply, please join our email list (right side of our homepage). This is the only way to ensure we can reach you at the time of critical deadlines. Click on "Plate" option to only receive emails regarding this plate project.
3. What is the incentive to do now? Applications will be kept in the order they are received. If you are requesting personalization, you have a better chance the earlier you submit your application. Regardless, receiving applications early means we can communicate that we have met our requirements early both to the DMV and to Delegate Greason...there are no guarantees, however, any specialty plate which meets its requirements months ahead of its deadline is more likely to avoid the general production bottleneck.

In one pool session, learn and practice the skills of skin diving and snorkeling taught by PADI Divemasters and earn your Snorkel BSA Patch! Bring your snorkel, mask and fins, or ask us about our rental program. Minimum age is 8, and adults are welcome to join the course and earn their PADI Skindiver certification. Prerequisite: must be comfortable in water (will be swimming to 12 feet deep). Swim test will be preformed prior to skin diving class.
